Do you know just how strong you are? What about how strong you think you are? We all have something unique about us, and our personal power allows us to tap into that uniqueness and allows us to stay true to our beliefs.

We can use our personal power to act as our solid-rock foundation, unbowed by everything that comes against us from the world we live in.

It’s very powerful, and most of our fellow perfectly imperfect humans don’t even recognize that its power exists, much less understand how to tap into it. But here’s how you can do it.

Personal Power Is All About Being Conscious and Aware

There are two parts to the mind, the conscious mind, and the unconscious mind. The conscious mind is what we think about whenever we are aware. These are the random thoughts that we happen to have throughout the day, and the things that we need to focus our attention on.

However, we also have the unconscious mind which is where 90% of our thoughts live, and they are played back to us like a tape.

Think about something simple you do, like cleaning the house or taking a shower. You know exactly how to perform those basic things because you’ve done them so many times that they’ve become automatic.

Our subconscious mind holds our routines, our daily habits, and our internal belief systems.

We spend more time on autopilot than we think, and it’s often because we don’t let our conscious mind take control.

One of the best ways to tap into and increase our personal power is to be more aware of our thoughts and actions.

We can’t be 100% aware all the time, but whenever we find ourselves repeating an action, we can take an intentional look at that action and try to understand why we are doing it.

Meditation is often the best way for our brains to do this, as it allows us to sit still and engage our subconscious mind. The practice of meditation helps us to focus, and then we can become the master of a situation rather than a victim of the way we’ve always done things.

Examining Personal Power

What do you do whenever you need to make a hard choice?

Do you dawdle at the starting line, thinking about all the other hard choices you made in the past that didn’t produce the desired results?

Do you experience an emotion like guilt, anger, or frustration over all the choices that failed you in the past?

Well, that’s your subconscious mind dredging up past events to mess with you. However, if you want to handle these hard choices with personal power, you need to do the following.

Make the conscious choice to start by asking yourself one question: Will this choice help me achieve my goals? If yes, then take steps to take it.

Tap into your personal power and get started with making the right call and see what that choice can do for you. Personal power allows you to dive headfirst into something and then see what can be done with it.

Gaining A New Perspective

One of the best benefits of getting tapped into your personal power is the new perspective that it brings to your life. You’re able to look at things that you once did automatically or things that were done only once because you were afraid, with a brand-new lease on life.

That power will flow out and start to touch all other areas of your life, and then you can get started with using your personal power to advance your life and the lives of others. Allow your personal power to expand and grow out of you – give it the freedom you need to implement a new plan for your life.

Generating your personal power will do you no good if you don’t implement it. Keeping it locked inside doesn’t give you the results you want – turn it loose, and let it FLY!
