Each day, I cultivate new perspectives and inspiration from the world around me.

cars parked in front of brown concrete building during daytimeI enjoy the diversity of ideas available to me – some that come from far away, others that can be as close as around the corner from my home or office.

While I am confident in my values and beliefs, I enjoy thinking critically about them to ensure that they continue to serve me.

Therefore, I cultivate new perspectives and inspiration each day empowers me to find joy in many different sources. Other people are a great source of inspiration for me, even if their beliefs vary widely from mine. Therefore, I choose to affiliate with a wide variety of people so that I can be exposed to many different levels and degrees of beliefs.

I cherish opportunities to learn more about myself, others, and my world, which only come when I am introduced to new ideas. Examining fresh perspectives and being inspired will bring new nuggets of wisdom that enrich my life, so I intentionally look at new ideas as possibilities worthy of exploring.

If I feel that my perspective is better for me than the one portrayed by a three women sitting on sofa with MacBookdiscussion partner, I am polite and considerate anyway. Listening to others carefully and with an open mind enables me to consider other viewpoints and experiences.

Having differences of opinion is part of our life experiences as unique individuals.

I entertain all new perspectives, however briefly, so I can do my personal analysis, consider options previously unknown to me, and know that my decisions are the right ones for me.

Today, I intentionally seek opportunities to learn about new perspectives, options, and inspiration. I am thankful for each new idea that comes my way since each one helps me reinforce or reshape my own views so that they are always in keeping with my highest good.

Self-Reflection Questions:

  1. What new perspectives or types of inspiration have I been exposed to lately?
  2. How can I approach new ideas so that I am more receptive to them internally, even if I disagree with them?
  3. How does a cultivating new perspective and being open to inspiration from others benefit me?
