Affirmations are powerful, positive sentences that can help turn your mindset from one of challenge and lack to one of stronger self-esteem, more abundant self-confidence, and a outlook of abundance.

Read the affirmation below aloud – loud enough for your mind to hear your voice saying the words and notice how you feel. Feeling better? Repeat this affirmation at least twice a day – morning, and night – for 21 to 28 days.

Comment below that you’ve started, make notes in your journal each day as to how you’re feeling and the positive changes you’ve made, and come back after the 21 to 28 days and let me know how you did!

My imperfections make me perfect.

I am who I am, and that is all that I can be in the present moment. I am perfectly comfortable and happy with who I am as a person in this moment. Though it may seem trivial to say these words, this short message packs a powerful punch.

Other people may go through life trying to look or act like someone else, but I avoid participating in this foolish, unauthentic fad.

I am comfortable within my own skin.

I am proud of my career, my love life, and the social choices I make. I know that I am a beautiful, attractive, and intelligent person within my own right, and not dependent on the definition of others to claim my positive qualities.

Some people may find me to be the epitome of perfection, while others may prefer a different cup of tea. Both opinions are okay.

I live my life to please only myself and those closest to my heart.

I realize that many of those who pass judgment on others do so because they are unhappy with themselves. So regardless of what others think, I know that I need only please myself.

I may have a plump shape or too thin a figure, imperfect facial features or a hairstyle, texture, or color that is different from the norm, but my imperfections make me perfect as I am. They make me value my unique self.

In a sea of silicone and plastic surgeries, my imperfections allow me to stand out from the crowd in an authentic way.

Today, I value myself. My individuality gives me the confidence to feel good about myself.
