When you can identify a negative thought pattern and implement the positive affirmation in its place, you can begin a new behavior pattern and create a new normal in your brain. Positive affirmations are amazingly easy to implement – but require consistent practice to achieve. But any effort towards changing your thoughts to a more positive mindset is a worthy task to undertake. Remember that Baby Steps forward are Still Steps Forward. If you never begin to work on changing your mindset, time will continue to pass and nothing will change for the better. Making incremental steps toward changing your mindset and your behaviors WILL bear fruit.

Positive affirmations are easy to incorporate into your personal practice. You can simply choose a positive phrase you want to engage in and repeat it to yourself, either aloud or silently. Every Monday here on the blog, a new affirmation is published. Check out the Affirmations Category Page to see them.

Additionally, you could also keep a journal where you write and rewrite the positive affirmations a certain number of times at the beginning and end of each day.
