Read the set of related affirmations below aloud. It’s important to your conscious and subconscious mind to hear the affirmations said in your own voice. Choose one or two of the affirmations from the set to start working with. You only need one or two affirmations, used consistently, to make a substantial change in your life.
Choose one affirmation that feels easy to you and choose another that generates resistance or disbelief. The idea is to practice extending your current self-imposed limits and encourage growth.
Say your chosen affirmation loud enough for your mind to hear your voice saying the words and take notice of how you feel as you begin and as you continue your practice. Repeat your chosen affirmation multiple times a day for at least 30 days and reinforce your affirmation by writing it in your journal.
You can change your life by beginning an affirmation practice – using one or two favorite affirmations over the course of 30 to 60 days can permanently change your mindset and your life.

I recognize opportunities and look for solutions to challenges.
I analyze events in a constructive way, seeing possibilities and beneficial outcomes. When I run into challenges and obstacles, I remember that I control my reactions. I tap into my memories of past experiences and draw on what I’ve learned to help me keep moving forward.

If my flight is delayed while traveling, I can use the time to call a friend, take a meditation or affirmation break, journal about my day or my travels, or read material that enhances my mindset and knowledge. Downtime does not mean wasted time.

I dissolve tension and let go of my worries.
I practice generosity whenever possible. The more I give, the richer I become. I experience a sense of abundance. I let a stranger who is carrying a load of packages have my seat on the train.Â
I spend time with family and friends. I surround myself with inspiring role models who encourage me to stretch, grow and become more capable. I think about the kindnesses that I have received from others and pass them along to help make someone’s day. I focus on the good qualities of the people I interact with every day.
I limit my exposure to negative media to protect my mindset and my spirit.
When I hear about tragedies in the news, I take a moment to send positive and uplifting energy to victims, helpers, and first responders that are involved. I also remember the uplifting stories about heroes who take positive and intentional action to help others in difficult circumstances.
I meditate, use affirmations, and speak to the divine in a way that works for me and my life. Connecting with the divine makes me feel stronger and more secure. I experience more peace and contentment as I travel my spiritually authentic journey.
Today, I imagine that the world is smiling along with me. I am a source of positive energy. I welcome more happiness into my life.
