Read the affirmation below aloud. Loud enough for your mind to hear your voice saying the words and notice how you feel. Feeling better? Repeat this affirmation at least twice a day – morning, and night – for 21 to 28 days.

Affirmations are powerful, positive sentences that can change your mindset. Don’t focus on challenges and lack, but on healthy self-esteem and unshakeable self-confidence.

I believe in my abilities – I am flexible and I can adapt to any situation.

No matter what challenges may come my way in pursuit of my goals, I am flexible and able to adapt. I have let go of the need to cling to the illusion of control over my circumstances. Instead, I trust myself, my flexibility, and my adaptability to empower me to deal effectively with any situation.

I can use any situation for my betterment.

By remaining flexible and open to unforeseen circumstances, I am exposing myself to innovative ideas and opportunities. My abilities enable me to adapt to the latest ideas and make the best of new opportunities consistently.

It is great to have goals and I cherish mine. But I acknowledge that it is impossible to see all the possibilities that life might hold.

My healthy, attainable goals are living, evolving, flexible, and adaptable.

By remaining open to change, I allow myself to recognize, absorb, and take advantage of possibilities I may not have seen at the outset.

Each challenge also gives me an opportunity to develop new skills, which enable me to get closer to my full potential. My skill set continues to grow, and with it grows my belief in myself and my abilities.

Gaining skills is often the result of being forced into a situation I wouldn’t have chosen on my own. I let go of the desire to struggle against new challenges.

I ensure constant, steady growth in my life.

Unexpected circumstances often bring me into contact with people that I wouldn’t have met otherwise. The benefit? I get to know people who may enrich my life and help me on my journey.

No single person is an island. I am created to live and work with others, and I find joy in doing so. Sometimes unplanned acts of fate bring me together with the people best suited for my life. I accept and enjoy these unexpected blessings and make the most of them.

For this and other reasons, I come at life with an open heart and mind, ready to discover whatever it will reveal to me.
